The Explore 4RC is a durable and completely waterproof headlamp, perfect for outdoor activities on land and water. The Explore 4RC boasts 400 lumens of brightness and a built-in, rechargeable 700 mAh LiPo battery with USB charging. Furthermore, it features flexible mounting options, three different LED colors (white, orange, and red), and an SOS flashing signal in case of emergency. Explore is simply a reliable companion in wet and dry conditions. IMPORTANT LIGHT FUNCTIONS Do you enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, or mountaineering? Or kayaking or sailing? Then this is the headlamp for you. The Explore 4RC features three different LED colors; white, red, and orange, all serving different functions. The white light has a brightness of 400 lumens and is suitable for most activities where you want to see what's around you. The red light is easy on the eyes, preserves night vision, and is perfect if you need to get up at night and don't want to disturb others, for example, if you live in mountain huts or tents. The orange light is ideal for reading maps, as it also highlights red markings, for example, when navigating at sea. The Explore lights boast 400 lumens of brightness and three different light modes, one of which is a so-called "Super-Low Mode," where the headlamp shines with only 10 lumens. This light mode offers the possibility to save battery life, but is also perfect for reading or if you want to work with the headlamp on something up close. If you want a cozy tent light or boat light, you can stow the headlamp in the supplied storage bag and thus obtain a subdued, cozy illumination. Whether you're looking for adventure – be it leisurely hiking, sailing, paddling or exciting climbing – you can rely on this headlamp to show you the way. In the event of an accident, Explore has an integrated SOS flashing light, which is activated via the on/off button. This signal is the international standard for emergency and help. WATERPROOF AND FLEXIBLE Explore was developed for everyone who loves adventure, both on land and on water. They are 100% waterproof according to the IPX7 standard, meaning that if you drop the headlamp into the water, it will stay afloat for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter. This makes it a particularly safe adventure companion, even during water activities such as fly fishing, kayaking, SUP or sailing. With the included belt/helmet mount, you can remove the light unit from the headband and attach it to a helmet, belt, or your backpack.
