Gas inspections for motorhomes and caravans
We carry out the DVFG-certified gas inspection according to G607 for caravans, campers and motorhomes at our location in Füssen.
Our shop is equipped with all the spare parts that may need to be replaced, so that an expired gas hose or gas pressure regulator can still be replaced during the inspection.
Legal obligation from June 2025
An important change affects all owners of camper vehicles: From June 19, 2025 , motorhomes and caravans with liquid gas systems must be regularly inspected. This requirement is regulated in the new § 60 "Liquid gas systems in vehicles" of the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO). The gas inspection will then be required every two years – regardless of the general inspection (HU).
Deadline: June 19, 2025
Anyone who cannot present a valid gas inspection certificate by this date risks a fine. Since the legal obligation for gas inspections was suspended in recent years, many vehicles will require an inspection. We therefore recommend that you book an appointment early – especially before the main travel season in summer.
