The silver mesh is based on a biocidal preservation technology consisting of a textile 3D fabric made from structural fibers and wet-chemically silver-plated threads. The silver mesh installed in the water tank guarantees a controlled release of biocidal silver ions into the surrounding water. This innovative technology ensures the killing/inactivation of bacteria, viruses, and fungi even in the raw water storage tank. The resulting storage capacity of the water extends throughout the entire water-carrying system, providing effective protection against contamination and biofilm formation.
The silver mesh for mobile use was specially developed for fresh water preservation in motorhomes, caravans, buses, off-road vehicles and boats. It ensures automatic dosing of silver ions - with every new tank filling. It is also used in air washers, humidifiers, pools and in circulating fluid systems in industry.
