Today we are introducing the versatile Pössl Campster. With its extremely reliable base vehicle, the Citroën Spacetourer, the Pössl Campster offers everything a traveler's heart desires. We would also like to introduce you to some of our accessories that will make your Campster even better and take your travel experience to a new level.
Base vehicle: Citroën Spacetourer
The Pössl Campster is based on the tried-and-tested, reliable Citroën Spacetourer. This robust and well-tuned base vehicle guarantees a smooth ride, no matter where your adventures lead you. With the Citroën Spacetourer as a foundation, you can count on a safe and comfortable journey.
Standard 2-seater sleeping bench and flexibly adjustable individual seats
There is room for the whole family or your travel companions in the Pössl Campster. The standard 2-seater sleeping bench offers you a cozy place to sleep at night with bed dimensions of approx. 195 x 115 cm and can be effortlessly converted into a comfortable bench seat during the day. The flexibly adjustable seats allow for individual interior customization according to your needs and ensure extra comfort while driving.
Panoramic pop-up roof with front opening
The panoramic pop-up roof of the Pössl Campster offers not only a breathtaking view of the surrounding nature but also a spacious sleeping area of 200 x 120 cm. Whether you want to watch the stars or enjoy the sunrise, the pop-up roof opens up a unique living experience in the great outdoors. Thanks to the sleeping area below and the SCA pop-up roof, up to 4 people can comfortably sleep in the Campster.
Mobile kitchen unit and practical storage space
A well-equipped kitchen is simply part of a successful camping adventure. The Pössl Campster features a mobile kitchen unit that is removable, giving you the ability to prepare your meals in the open air. The integrated gas locker as well as the 10L fresh & waste water canisters make you independent and flexible. Nothing stands in the way of a spontaneous cooking adventure in nature. Because of the removable kitchen, the Campster can be expanded to up to 7 seats (with seat belts).
Swivel front seats for socializing
The Pössl Campster is designed so that up to 4 people can comfortably sit at the table. Thanks to the swivel front seats, all travelers can enjoy meals together or simply spend a cozy time with one another. Optimal use of space and social interaction are guaranteed.

Cover for Pössl Campster: With one of our weather or thermal covers for the Pössl Campster, you protect your tent fabric from moisture and mildew stains. The high-quality fabrics with climate membranes that we use for our covers keep out not only the weather but also the wind, and they insulate the bed in the pop-up roof against cold and direct sunlight. Furthermore, our covers darken the pop-up roof, which many of our customers greatly appreciate.
Advantages of the Pössl Campster
Price: Compared to other camper vans in this class, the Pössl Campster is significantly more affordable.
Flexibility: Thanks to the removable kitchen and the sliding/removable seats and benches in the 2nd and 3rd rows, the Campster is the perfect everyday vehicle despite its built-in furniture; it can be expanded to up to 7 seats or for plenty of storage space.
Everyday suitability: The Campster is intended not only for travel but also for daily use. It can serve as a family or leisure vehicle and can also be used for shopping or the commute to work.
Disadvantages of the Pössl Campster
Limitations in camping comfort: Unfortunately, the lower price of the Pössl Campster is noticeable in some areas of camping comfort. For example, in the Campster "living area," you only find the standard carpet with the seat rails from the Citroën Spacetourer. Unfortunately, this floor is flexible and has almost no thermal insulation - which can definitely be bothersome on colder nights. The cabinets in the Campster are spacious, but unfortunately, they do not have any compartments/shelves installed.
The Pössl VANSTER
The VANSTER, based on the CITROËN SPACETOURER and the PEUGEOT TRAVELLER, is a true all-rounder that adapts perfectly to different life situations. Whether you want to do a big shopping trip, transport bulky items, take your bikes along, go on a tour with friends, or even go camping spontaneously – the VANSTER is up for everything. It offers space for up to eight people and also has the option of spending a long weekend outdoors, thanks to its practical elevating roof with a sleeping option.
The VANSTER is also characterized by a standard induction cooktop, swivel front seats, shore power connection, and a pop-up roof. It is available in various versions, either as a diesel vehicle or as a fully electric E-Vanster.
Pössl VANSTER Accessories
Practical variety with the Campbox Kitchen/Sleep
The two optional camp boxes, Campbox Kitchen and Campbox Sleep, offer a range of possibilities to adapt your vehicle to your needs. The Campbox Kitchen is equipped with storage solutions, an integrated 2-burner stove, and a sink with fresh and waste water tanks. When it comes to sleeping arrangements, the Campbox Sleep offers not only a bed extension but also a comfortable foldable mattress. Thanks to the Quick-Fix system, they can be easily installed and removed from the vehicle's interior and can even be used as stools.

Advantages of the VANSTER
Everyday suitability: Due to its flexible interior without cabinets that get in the way during everyday use, the VANSTER is the perfect companion for the whole (extended) family in daily life.
Price: The VANSTER has a very interesting price-performance ratio.
Disadvantages of the VANSTER
Storage options: Because there are no cabinets, the VANSTER lacks storage options on longer trips to keep the interior of the vehicle tidy.
The Pössl CampStar & VanStar
The Pössl CampStar & VanStar series are not only confusingly similar in name to the CAMPSTER & VANSTER series, but also in the concept of both vehicles. Basically, the biggest difference is also reflected in the name, as the base vehicles for the CampStar & VanStar all bear a star and come from the Mercedes brand. With both conversion variants, you have the choice between the Mercedes Vito and the fancier Mercedes V-Class as a base vehicle. The second difference is that the pop-up roofs of the CampStar & VanStar series are so-called panoramic pop-up roofs (for which you can find our custom-made covers here), which can be opened completely at the front by a zipper. The third major difference is the CampStar's kitchen, which can be swiveled outward through the open sliding door via a mechanism on which it is mounted. The VanStar comes - like the VANSTER - as standard with an induction cooktop.
